Boards and commissions applications are available

COLUMBIA, MO (July 23, 2014) - The Columbia city clerk is accepting applications for boards and commissions. Applications must be received by the City Clerk's Office, 701 E. Broadway, second floor, by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8. Applications are available at the clerk's office or on the city's website at www.GoColumbiaMo.com on the City Council page. The following are current boards and commissions openings:  


*Bicycle/Pedestrian Commission

*Board of Health

*Board of Mechanical Examiners

*Building Construction Codes Commission

*Columbia Housing Authority Board

*Columbia Vision Commission

*Finance Advisory and Audit Committee

*Historic Preservation Commission

*Human Services Commission

*Mayor's Council on Physical Fitness and Health

*Personnel Advisory Board

*Tax Increment Financing Commission
