Movies in the Park

COLUMBIA, MO (June 5, 2014) - Columbia Parks and Recreation is planning the next showing in the Movies in the Park summer series at Flat Branch Park. Frankenweenie will be shown at 9 p.m. on June 13.

 

In honor of this not-so-scary Friday the 13th, movie-goers are encouraged to wear a costume or other Halloween gear to get in the spirit for this themed night!

 

Admission price is $2 per person; children 8 and under are free. Popcorn and other concessions will be available.  Movie-goers should bring a blanket or low lawn chairs for seating.

 

The Movies in the Park series features a monthly, family-friendly movie shown on an inflatable screen. The movies are sponsored by Parks and Recreation, KPLA 101.5, and Boone Electric Community Trust.
