COLUMBIA, MO (March 13, 2014) - Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting a drop-in public meeting for new restrooms at Garth and Grindstone Nature Areas.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on March 20 at the ARC (1701 W. Ash). The proposed plans will be on display. Park staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

The restroom proposed at Garth Nature Area would serve the Bear Creek Trail, dog park, and nature area users. The restroom proposed at Grindstone Nature Area would serve Hinkson Creek Trail and nature area users.

The restroom projects will be funded by the Park Sales Tax, approved by voters in November 2010.
