Monthly Test of Outdoor Warning Sirens to Take Place on Wednesday

COLUMBIA, MO (November 3, 2014) - Weather conditions permitting, Boone County Public Safety Joint Communications will activate the county’s more than 80 outdoor warning sirens on Wednesday, November 5 at Noon. The activation is part of a routine monthly test conducted by Public Safety Joint Communications and the Boone County Office of Emergency Management.

In the event of threatening weather, the test will be postponed.
