Shots Fired On Hanover Boulevard
COLUMBIA, MO (September 29, 2014) - SHOTS FIRED ON HANOVER BOULEVARD
On 9/29/14 at 1:38 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 1600 Block of Hanover Boulevard in reference to shots fired in the area.
The investigation revealed a silver sport utility vehicle and a silver Cadillac, with people inside both vehicles, were parked next to each other in the parking lot when a fight happened and shots were fired. When officers arrived on the scene, the Cadillac was still there and information provided by witnesses said the sport utility vehicle left the scene at a high rate of speed.
Officers arrived on scene and located blood near the Cadillac and notified area hospitals to contact the Columbia Police Department if a victim of a gunshot wound arrived at the hospital. There was no damage found on the Cadillac and no reported damage to any apartment building in the area. Officers did not locate any shell casings at the scene. There are no reports of anyone injured. Officers are currently looking for the silver sport utility and anyone with information about the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
