Arrest Made In An Armed Robbery That Occurred At Budget Host Inn

COLUMBIA, MO (April 22, 2015) - ARREST MADE IN AN ARMED ROBBERY THAT OCCURRED AT BUDGET HOST INN

 

Deron Julius Todd, age 17, from Columbia, was arrested on 4/21/15 at 9:48 P.M. for Armed Criminal Action with a to be set bond and Robbery in the First Degree with a to be set bond. Todd was arrested without incident at 2904 Range Line Street.

 

The armed robbery occurred on 4/19/15 at 12:26 P.M. at 900 Vandiver Drive. The victim’s, ages 17, 17, and 20, reported Deron Todd was in their hotel room, pointed a hand gun at them and stole their lap top computer, charger, cellphone with its charger and a case for the lap top computer.  A three -year -old juvenile was also in the hotel room.  An officer located Todd near the Budget Host Inn and was in a short pursuit of Todd who got away.  An officer located several items Todd dropped when he took off running that included a cellular phone, lap top computer, the charger for the lap top computer and the lap top case. No one was injured during the robbery.  The victims and Todd were known to each other.
