Master Composter Class to be Held May 5, 6, 7

COLUMBIA, MO (April 29, 2015) - The City of Columbia's Volunteer Services Office invites the public to participate in the Master Composter training class. The class will take place on May 5, 6, and 7 from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the Grissum Building, 1313 Lakeview Avenue. Participants will not only learn how to build and maintain compost bins but also will learn how to share that knowledge with other members of their neighborhoods and community. Upon completion of the class, participants will be certified Master Composters and asked to volunteer 10 hours over the next 12 months with the City's compost education program.
