Road Closure for Emergency Sewer Repairs - East Walnut between College Ave and Melbourne St

COLUMBIA, MO (August 3, 2015) - A contractor for the City of Columbia will be repairing a sewer line under East Walnut at College Ave beginning on Wednesday, August 5 at 9:00 am. This will require a full closure of East Walnut between College Ave and Melbourne St. The work is scheduled to be completed, weather permitting, by Friday, August 7 at 5:00 PM.

All lanes of College Ave are expected to remain open while repairs are made, however, one northbound lane of College Ave at Walnut may be temporarily restricted at various times during the repairs. 

Motorist and non-motorized transportation users are urged to use caution in the work zone and find alternate routes during the closure.
