Columbia Public Works crews to monitor potential spotty ice on roadways overnight
COLUMBIA, MO (December 28, 2015) - Columbia Public Works will have an 8 person crew on duty starting at 11:30 PM to monitor and treat potential spotty icing conditions on roadways. Rain is expected to taper off this evening and then temperatures are expected to drop below freezing. This could cause some standing water on roadways to freeze.
Spotty icing potential will be highest on low-traffic and residential roads overnight. Motorist should be cautious of spotty icing during the Tuesday morning commute. Please use caution.
