Shots fired in the area of Perkins Drive

COLUMBIA, MO (December 29, 2015) - On 12/28/15 at 10:14 P.M., officers responded to the 1700 block of Perkins Drive in reference to multiple reports of shots being fired. During the investigation, officers discovered two residences and three vehicles had multiple bullet holes in the exterior. In addition, officers located several shell casings in the area.  

 

Preliminary investigation reveals two occupied sedans exchanged gunfire in the 1700 block of Perkins Drive.  They proceeded to exchange fire as they drove down Alan Lane and McKee Street before both fleeing the area. No injuries have been reported at this time. There is currently no further information available for release.
