Armed robbery at 111 Hitt Street

COLUMBIA, MO (December 30, 2015) - On 12/30/15 at 9:53 P.M., officers were dispatched to 111 Hitt Street, Hitt Street Mini Mart in reference to a robbery.

 

Preliminary investigation reveals two male suspects armed with a handgun entered the business. There were three victims inside the business at the time. The suspects brandished the handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspects retrieved an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. No one was injured during the incident and there was no property damage.

 

The suspects are described as black males in their late teens to early 20’s. They were last seen wearing all dark clothing. The investigation is on-going.
