Possible Business Loop 70 traffic restrictions for water and electric project

COLUMBIA, MO (February 2, 2015) - Columbia Water & Light will be replacing a 12-inch water line on Business Loop 70 West, from Jefferson Street to Garth Avenue. In conjunction with this project, electric line conduit will be installed to move the overhead lines underground. The project will start on Wednesday, February 4 and is expected to take several weeks. The utility work will result in possible lane restrictions for motorists heading east since some of the work will take place in the lane on the south side of the Business Loop. If there are any water or electric services disruptions during this project, customers will be individually notified.
