Section of Jewell Avenue closed for electric work

COLUMBIA, MO (January 13, 2015) - Installing conduit for moving electric lines underground on Business Loop 70 West will cause the closure of Jewell Avenue on January 14, 2015. The block between the Business Loop and Highview Avenue will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to noon. Motorists will need to detour around the block while the trenching work is underway. No electric service interruptions are expected during the construction work on Wednesday.
