Neighborhood Planning Drop-In Meetings Announced for West Central Area of City

COLUMBIA, MO (January 13, 2015) - Residents, near neighbors, and interested parties of the area of the City roughly bounded by Broadway on the south, McBaine and Sexton on the east, Business Loop 70 on the north, and Stadium on the west are invited to attend one or both drop-in meetings to develop a neighborhood plan. These informal forums offer an opportunity to learn more about the benefits and process of neighborhood planning and provide input.

Open House 1

Saturday, January 24, in the Friends Room of the Columbia Public Library, 100 W. Broadway, anytime between 3 and 5 p.m.

Open House 2

Thursday, January 29, at the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC), 1701 W. Ash St., anytime between 5 and 7 p.m.

Neighborhood planners are also asking residents to consider leadership and advocacy roles for neighborhood plan development. Residents and stakeholders may also provide input by calling 573.874.7682 or taking an online survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WCentral.
