Interested Parties Meeting - Clinkscales and Worley Intersection Improvement Project

COLUMBIA, MO (January 28, 2015) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal Open House informational meeting concerning an upcoming street construction project. This meeting will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at West Middle School, 401 Clinkscales Road, Columbia, MO. The meeting will take place in the Media Center.  

The purpose of this meeting is to present design concepts for the Worley and Clinkscales Intersection Improvements  project, which includes reconstructing sidewalk ramps and replacing pedestrian push buttons to meet ADA requirements, and adding flashing yellow left turn arrows on Worley Street, similar to other intersections around town. A location map is attached to this release. 

Construction of this project is currently scheduled to begin in 2016.

Information and diagrams showing the preliminary design concepts will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. If you have any input for the City to consider as the design is developed, a Public Comment Form will be available for you to fill out.
