Stormwater System Repairs - July 21 - 24 - Temporary Closures on Sunset Drive

COLUMBIA, MO (July 21, 2015) - Beginning on Tuesday, July 21 at 12:00 noon, Seth Paul Excavating will continue with work on the stormwater system on Sunset Drive between Hickory Hill Dr and Rollins Rd. The work will require temporary road closures on Sunset Drive between Hickory Hill Dr. and Rollins Rd. during the project. The project is scheduled to be completed on Friday, July 24. All work and dates are weather dependent.

The work will replace failing brick stormwater inlets and failing metal stormwater pipes in three locations on Sunset Drive between Hickory Hill Drive and Rollins Road. The total cost of the work is estimated to be $40,000 and is funded by the Stormwater Utility.

Motorist and non-motorized transportation users should use caution in the work zone and find alternate routes if possible.
