Elm & Ninth Street traffic restrictions for water project 

COLUMBIA, MO (June 3, 2015) - Columbia Water & Light will be removing a water service line at Elm and Ninth streets that used to serve the Shakespeare’s Pizza building. This will cause the westbound lane of Elm between Eighth and Ninth streets to be closed on Friday, June 3. On Monday, June 8 water personnel will be working in the northbound lane of Ninth Street, between Elm and Locust. Due to traffic being restricted to one lane at these locations, there will be a person directing traffic. Motorists are urged to be cautious when traveling in the area and use alternate routes when possible. No water disruptions are expected to occur for customers in the area during this project.
