BURGLARY, SHOTS FIRED, AND PURSUIT NEAR THE 1700 BLOCK OF HANOVER BOULEVARD

COLUMBIA, MO (June 10, 2015) - At 4:24 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Hanover Boulevard in reference to a law alarm.

 

The investigation revealed occupants (victims) of the residence returned to their home and observed entry had been made. Two suspects proceeded to flee from the home on foot. The suspects pointed guns at the victims and shots were reportedly fired.

 

The victims were able to identify a suspect vehicle, and at 4:46 P.M., officers located a vehicle matching the description in the area of Clark Lane and Olympic Boulevard. Officers attempted a traffic stop with the vehicle and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle stopped near the 1600 block of Hanover Boulevard and officers detained the male driver. The male was transported to CPD for questioning.

 

There is no further information being released at this time as the investigation is on-going.
