Ninth Street traffic restrictions for water project
COLUMBIA, MO (June 3, 2015) - Columbia Water & Light had to delay the removal of a water service line on Ninth Street that used to serve the Shakespeare's Pizza building. This will cause the water personnel to be working in the northbound lane of Ninth Street, between Elm and Locust on Monday, June 15. Due to traffic being restricted to one lane, there will be a person directing traffic. Motorists are urged to be cautious when traveling in the area and use alternate routes when possible. No water disruptions are expected to occur for customers in the area during this project.
The other part of the water service line along Elm was removed last week.
