City of Columbia Hosts Home Repair Application Fair June 18

COLUMBIA, MO (June 15, 2015) - The City of Columbia is hosting a Home Repair Application Fair on June 18 to "jump start" the application process. The fair will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services, 1005 W. Worley Street. 

Attendees will:


*Find out if their household qualifies

*Learn what repairs are eligible

*Learn how much assistance can be provided

*Get help starting the application process


Prior to attending the event, potential applicants should confirm that their household is eligible based on these income limits:


*1 person $40,600 

*2 persons $46,400

*3 persons $52,200 

*4 persons $58,000

*5 persons $62,650 

*6 persons $67,300 

*7 persons $71,950 

*8 persons $76,600


If possible, those attending the event should bring 2 months of income statements (award letters, paystubs, tax returns) and bank statements (checking, savings, mortgages, investments). Only owner-occupied homes within Columbia city limits are eligible for assistance.
