City of Columbia to Hold HomeWorks Home Maintenance Training Saturday, July 18

COLUMBIA, MO (June 29, 2015) - The City of Columbia's Community Development Department will hold a HomeWorks Home Maintenance Training on Saturday, July 18. This free informational class for homeowners and other interested individuals covers basic home repairs, preventative home maintenance, how to decide between doing-it-yourself or hiring a contractor, and insulation and energy efficiency. The training will be held on Saturday, February 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Family Impact Center, 105 E. Ash St., Ste. 200 (2nd Floor).

Attendees may purchase a home maintenance book for $25 (cash or check only). Purchase of a book is not required. Participants may bring their own refreshments.
