Free COMO Connect Bus Rides during True/False Film Fest Weekend

COLUMBIA, MO (March 4, 2015) - The City of Columbia and COMO Connect are proud to once again partner with the True False Film Fest as it brings some of the world's best nonfiction films to mid-Missouri March 5-8!

On this special weekend, COMO Connect will be offering FREE bus rides for the entire city-wide fixed route system Thursday, March 5th - Saturday, March 7th, plus an extra downtown route to take film goers straight to the True/False venues that will run extended late night hours Thursday, March 5th - Sunday, March 8th!

COMO Connect fixed routes will be free to everyone and will run their normal hours Monday-Friday 6:25am-8:00pm and 10:00am-8:00pm Saturday. These bus routes do not run on Sundays.

The special True/False Film Fest Loop is also free to everyone and is put in place to offer additional service to the increased downtown traffic of festival goers. This route will run Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am, and Friday-Sunday 9:00am-1:30am. Customers can identify the extra bus downtown by the large red True/False ads on the side of the bus, light up signs reading "True/False Venues" over the front and curb side windows, or by the "TF" label on the bus tracking app, DoubleMap. COMO Connect will still be running the normal 10 Red downtown route for free as well during its normal service hours, and is a convenient option for customers traveling to and from downtown parking garages and lots.

True/False bus stop signs and temporary True/False bus shelters are being added in the downtown area to mark the bus stops that were added for the festival weekend.

Customers don't need a special pass or ID to get free rides on any of the buses this weekend, anyone can just hop on board at the nearest marked bus stop and take advantage of the free transportation around the city!
