Second Arrest Made in Shooting on Forest Avenue

COLUMBIA, MO (May 23, 2015) - SECOND ARREST MADE IN SHOOTING NEAR FOREST AVENUE

 

On 5/22/15, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Smiley Lane.  Montez D. Quinn, age 25, from Columbia, was the driver of the vehicle. Quinn had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant with a $1,000.00 bond and he was a suspect in the shooting on East Forest Avenue. Detectives searched Quinn and located a small bag of marijuana. Quinn was arrested on the warrant as well as: Possession of Controlled Substance Misdemeanor with a bond of $500.00, Assault in the First Degree x 3 with a to be set bond, Armed Criminal Action with a to be set bond, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon with a to be set bond.
