1st Degree Burglary On Tessa Way

COLUMBIA, MO (November 10, 2015) - 1ST DEGREE BURGLARY ON TESSA WAY

 

On 11/10/15 at 6:47 A.M., officers were dispatched to a burglary in the 5200 block of Tessa Way.

 

The male victim, age 20, became aware of someone attempting to make entry into his residence and he went to investigate. The victim confronted a black male at the door as he was making entry.  The suspect took off running and the victim chased after the suspect. The victim caught the suspect in the back of the residence and fought with him. The suspect pulled a handgun out and the victim disengaged. The suspect took off running and got into a dark blue passenger vehicle.

 

The victim had three other roommates that were home during the burglary, but they were all upstairs when the burglary was happening downstairs. The suspect was unable to take anything from the residence. The victim was not injured and the investigation is ongoing.

 

The victim described the suspect as a black male in his early twenties, approximately 6’2” to 6’3”, wearing all black clothing with a hood over his head and something over his face.
