Recreational Vehicle Fire

COLUMBIA, MO (November 24, 2015) - On Tuesday, 11/24/15 at 11:43 a.m., Columbia Fire Department and crews were dispatched to Highway 63 Northbound/I -70 Eastbound for a reported commercial vehicle fire.  

Snozzle 1 and crew arrived on the scene at 11:49 a.m. with black smoke and flames showing from a recreational vehicle.  Fire crews aggessively extinguished the vehicle fire within five minutes.  The two occupants of the vehicle were unharmed during the incident. 

Fire crews remained on the scene to assist the Fire Marshal with his initial investigation.  

The estimated fire damage $8,000.00.
