West Central Columbia Neighborhood Action Plan Public Input Meeting Wednesday, October 7

COLUMBIA, MO (October 5, 2015) - The West Central Area of Columbia is bounded by Broadway on the south, McBaine and Sexton on the east, I-70 Drive on the north, and Stadium on the west. The draft plan has been released for public review and comment, and a public input meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 7.

Draft Plan Public Presentation and Feedback Meeting:

701 E. Broadway
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

At this meeting, participants will review and provide feedback on the draft plan. An organized program will be held, including a formal presentation by Planning Staff, followed by a public feedback, question and answer session. Public comments will be forwarded to the City of Columbia Planning and Zoning Commission, which will hold a public hearing to the review the draft plan prior to review and potential adoption by the Columbia City Council. The dates of these reviews are not yet set, but are anticipated to occur within a few weeks after the October 7, 2015 public presentation and feedback meeting.

All comments will be provided to the Planning and Zoning Commission for their review. Additionally, comments will be used by staff to identify and correct errors or omissions in the current draft plan, and/or to improve the planning process for future neighborhood planning efforts.
