ATTEMPTED STRONG ARMED ROBBERY IN THE 1200 BLOCK OF WALNUT STREET

COLUMBIA, MO (October 11, 2015) - On 10/11/15 at 3:12 A.M., officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Walnut Street in reference to an attempted robbery. 

 

The investigation revealed a male victim, 19, was approached by three male suspects in the area. The suspects assaulted the victim and attempted to take property from him. The suspects were unsuccessful in obtaining any property from the victim and fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The victim sustained injuries to his face and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

 

The suspects are described as white males in their mid-20’s. One suspect was described as approximately 5’8” tall and was last seen wearing a black Mizzou polo with yellow stripes. The investigation is on-going.
