Shooting in the Parking Lot of 26 Business Loop 70 East

COLUMBIA, MO (October 20, 2015) - SHOOTING IN THE PARKING LOT OF 26 BUSINESS LOOP 70 EAST

 

On 10/20/15 at 10:08 P.M., officers were clearing from an accident in the area of Garth and Business Loop 70 E when they heard multiple shots fired from the east near the Burger King Restaurant.  As officers were running towards the area of the shots fired a male subject was running westbound through the parking lot towards the officers.

 

Officers contacted the male who was bleeding from multiple gunshots wounds. Officers called for medics and the male was transported by ambulance with life threatening injuries to a local hospital. Officers located evidence that the shooting took place in the parking lot in front of Loop Liquor, 26 Business Loop 70 E.

 

Officers observed a black passenger vehicle with dark tinted windows leaving the parking lot of Loop Liquor at a high rate of speed heading southbound on Grand Avenue. There have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.
