MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH AT BROADWAY STREET AND ANN STREET

COLUMBIA, MO (September 8, 2015) - Motor Vehicle Crash

Case #: 2015-009999

Date & Time of Occurrence: 09/08/2015 01:04 A.M.

Crash Location: Broadway & Ann

 

Driver 1:

Deven Larry, 20 of Columbia

Seatbelt Usage: No

Injury:  Non-life threatening

           

Passenger 1:

Daryl Richardson, 20 of Columbia

Seatbelt Usage: No

Injury: Non-life threatening

 

The crash occurred as the silver Honda driven by Deven Larry, was traveling east on Broadway near Ann Street.  Larry lost control of the Honda, which caused the Honda to skid.  The Honda began sliding in the opposing lanes of travel.  The Honda struck the curb then struck a stationary light pole.  Larry and the passenger of the vehicle, Daryl Richardson were extricated from the Honda by Columbia Fire Department personnel.  Larry and Richardson were both transported to a local hospital.

 

Alcohol and speed are believed to be contributing factors of the crash.  If you or anyone you know observed the crash, please contact the Columbia Police Department, or call CrimeStoppers at (573) 875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
