West Central Columbia Neighborhood Action Plan Draft Released for Public Review and Feedback

COLUMBIA, MO (September 18, 2015) - The West Central Area of Columbia is bounded by Broadway on the south, McBaine and Sexton on the east, Business Loop 70 on the north, and Stadium on the west. The draft plan has been released for public review and comment. Several options for public review and feedback are available.

Draft Plan Public Presentation and Feedback Meeting:

Wednesday, October 7, 2015: City Hall Conference Room 1A/1B, 701 E. Broadway, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Participants will review and provide feedback on the draft plan. An organized program will be held, including a formal presentation by Planning Staff, followed by a public feedback, question and answer session.

Public comments will be forwarded to the City of Columbia Planning and Zoning Commission, which will hold a public hearing to the review the draft plan prior to review and potential adoption by the Columbia City Council. The dates of these reviews are not yet set, but are anticipated to occur within a few weeks after the October 7, 2015 public presentation and feedback meeting.
