Electronic Waste Collection Event - Saturday, October 3 from 9 am to noon at Home Depot, 3215 Clark Lan
COLUMBIA, MO (September 30, 2015) - The City of Columbia, Mid-Missouri Recycling, and Home Depot will host an Electronic Waste Collection Event on Saturday, October 3, from 9 am to noon on the parking lot of the Home Depot at 3215 Clark Lane.
Most electronic items, working or not, will be accepted at no charge. Some examples include:
Computers, printers, keyboards, computer mouse, laptops, wires, hard drives, cell phones, scanners, speakers, VCR's, DVD player/recorders, telephones, fax machines, pagers, answering machines, car batteries, dryers, washers, stereo's, satellite receivers, stoves, and radios.
A nominal charge will apply to these items:
Monitors - $5.00
TV's under 27" - $20.00
TV's over 27" - $30.00
Copiers - $25.00
Microwaves - $5.00
Volunteers will be available to assist with unloading items from vehicles. No tires will be accepted at this event.
