Overlay planned for La Rail, Lake Point Aug. 17

COLUMBIA, MO (August 16, 2016) - The Public Works Department announced on Tuesday that Capital Paving, a subcontractor for the City of Columbia, plans to perform asphalt overlay on La Rail Drive and Lake Point Lane on Aug. 17, weather permitting.

Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users should expect temporary lane closures while the work is being performed. Flaggers will be on hand to allow through traffic. Once the street is overlaid, traffic may drive on the asphalt almost immediately.
