Substance Advisory Commission seeks public input regarding proposed pawnbroker amendments
COLUMBIA, MO (August 25, 2016) - WHO: Substance Abuse Advisory Commission
WHAT: Public hearing regarding the proposed amendments to Chapter 13 of the City Code as it pertains to pawnbrokers and other dealers of secondhand property
WHERE: Columbia City Hall, Council Chamber, 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, MO
WHEN: Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, 7 p.m.
WHY: At the request of City Council, the Substance Abuse Advisory Commission will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to pawnbrokers and other dealers of secondhand property. A panel of stakeholders will make brief statements prior to the commission taking public comment on the proposed amendments to the ordinance.
