Informational meeting on updates to building codes being held Aug. 23

COLUMBIA, MO (August 18, 2016) - All building projects submitted after Oct. 1, 2016 are required to meet the requirements of the 2015 International Code Council family of codes and/or the 2014 National Electric Code. The Building and Site Development Division of the Community Development Department is holding a meeting to discuss these changes on Aug. 23, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The meeting will also discuss changes regarding the City's plot plan requirements. The construction community is strongly encouraged to attend.
