New water lines in Gregory Heights subdivision

COLUMBIA, MO (December 1, 2016) - Columbia Water & Light will be replacing existing 2- and 4-inch water lines in the Gregory Heights neighborhood, off of Oakland Gravel Road, from Dec. 5, 2016 through March 2017. The water crews will be installing new 6-inch water mains, customer service lines and new meters on Kent Drive, Alan Circle, Elaine Court, Gregory Drive and Teresa Drive. There will be traffic lane restrictions on different streets throughout the project. Motorists are urged to be cautious. Winter weather might delay the finish date due to the extensive work required with this project. 

The upgraded water line will increase the amount of water that can be delivered to the area for consumers and for firefighting purposes. Customers will be individually notified of any water service disruptions during this project.
