No changes in trash collection days during the holidays

COLUMBIA, MO (December 19, 2016) - The Columbia Utilities Department will be collecting trash and recycling according to the normal schedule the weeks of Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2. This year the solid waste collection employees requested to work on the observed City holiday. A new service on the City's website (como.gov/PublicWorks/Solidwaste/) allows trash and recycling customers to check their collection day by location and sign up for reminders. Please do not place your refuse and recyclables out before 4 p.m. the day prior to your collection day.
 
 City offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2.
