No changes in trash collection days next week

COLUMBIA, MO (December 30, 2016) - The Columbia Utilities Department will be collecting trash and recycling according to the normal schedule the week of Monday, Jan. 2. This year the solid waste collection employees requested to work on the observed City holiday. The City's landfill will be opened on Jan. 2, even though City offices will be closed. 

A new service on the City's website (como.gov/PublicWorks/Solidwaste/) allows trash and recycling customers to check their collection day by location and sign up for reminders.
