Elleta Blvd., Garth Ave. lane restrictions due to construction

COLUMBIA, MO (February 29, 2016) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced that beginning Tuesday, March 1 at 12 p.m., GBH Builders Inc. of Jefferson City will begin construction of sidewalks on Elleta Boulevard as well as Garth Avenue from Worley Street to Sexton Road.

This work will result in temporary lane restrictions on the eastbound and westbound lanes of Elleta Boulevard and the northbound and southbound lanes of Garth Avenue. The work should be completed and the lane restrictions removed by this summer, weather permitting.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
