Small Chemical Spill

COLUMBIA, MO (January 4, 2016) - On Monday, 01/04/16 at 3:56 p.m. Columbia Fire Department crews were dispatched to 4600 Waco Road for a reported small chemical leak.  Furether information, BCJC stated a patient possibly had inhaled ammonia from the reported leak. 

Quint 4's crew was the first arriving unit on the scene at 4:01 p.m.  Quint 4's crew returned all other responding CFD fire units to service.  The incident commander of the scene reported that the leak had been mitigated before fire crews arrived on the scene. The reported patient was evaluated by the ambulance crew on the scene and had returned to work.
