Water project on Ninth Street next week 

COLUMBIA, MO (January 8, 2016) - Starting Monday, Jan. 11, Columbia Water & Light will be removing an old four-inch water pipe and installing a new section of six-inch water main. Most of the work will occur on Ninth Street, near Lowry Mall. Traffic in the area will not be restricted due to the construction work but there will be a section of the sidewalk closed. The work is expected to be completed on Wednesday, Jan. 13. There will not be any water service disruptions during this project.
