Summer mill and overlay road maintenance progress / update, July 25-29

COLUMBIA, MO (July 19, 2016) - The Public Works Department announced plans on Monday to reinstall speed bumps on Rollins Road and to mill and overlay two additional streets, July 25-29, weather permitting.

On July 25-27, the Street Division plans to reinstall speed humps on Rollins Road, between Rothwell Drive and Westport Drive, that were removed this spring during mill and overlay operations.

On July 28-29, the Street Division plans to overlay Sinclair Road, between Stanley Pitts Lane and Route K, and Old Plank Road, between Route K and the end of city maintenance near Campus Drive.

This is a tentative work schedule subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists can expect minor delays and will be flagged through the work zone.
