Turner Avenue scheduled to close for sewer connection Aug. 1-7

COLUMBIA, MO (July 26, 2016) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced on Tuesday a scheduled closure of a section of Turner Avenue to connect a sewer lateral Aug. 1-7.

Emery Sapp and Sons plans to connect a sewer lateral to the existing City sewer main located in the Turner Avenue pavement, requiring a full closure of Turner Avenue between Providence Road and Fifth Street.

Emery Sapp and Sons is a private contractor that applied for and received a construction permit from the City of Columbia. This work is associated with a project that ACC OP Development Group LLC is completing, known as U Centre on Turner, 609 S. Fourth St.
