Closure scheduled on Fifth Street for sewer work Aug. 2-12

COLUMBIA, MO (July 28, 2016) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced Thursday that Origin/Catalyst is planning to install a new sewer lateral requiring a closure on Fifth Street between Elm Street and the alley on Fifth Street Aug. 2-12

Origin/Catalyst is a private contractor that applied for and received a construction permit from the City of Columbia.  This work is associated with the proposed private development being completed at 525 Elm St.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route.
