Water project work at Ninth and Locust streets will restrict traffic next week
COLUMBIA, MO (June 2, 2016) - Columbia Water & Light will be removing a water service line on the northeast corner of Ninth Street and Locust on Tuesday, June 7, weather permitting. The northbound lane of Ninth Street will be closed at the intersection at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. There will be no parking on this corner and the sidewalks will be closed. Street and sidewalk restoration work might hamper vehicle and pedestrian traffic for serval days after the water line is removed on Tuesday. Motorists are urged to take another route while the work is being completed. There are not expected to be any water service disruptions during this project.
