[Update] Sidewalk closure on Burnam Avenue

COLUMBIA, MO (June 20, 2016) - Little Dixie Construction plans to begin placing building shoring and performing utility work for the Delta Gamma Project on Burnam Avenue from June 22 to August 4, weather permitting.

This will result in a sidewalk closure on the south side of Burnam Avenue between South Providence Road and Curtis Avenue. 

During this same time period, a closure of the sidewalk on the east side of South Providence Road as part of a MoDOT permit is also scheduled.  

A long-term closure may follow this closure if approved by City of Columbia City Council.

Motorists, non motorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
