Benton Street closure for sewer tap replacement

COLUMBIA, MO (March 11, 2016) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced that starting Monady, March 14 at 7 a.m. Synergy Construction will be removing and replacing a sewer tap near 3 Benton St. This will result in a street closure on Benton Street between Jefferson Street and Jewell Avenue. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Friday, March 18 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.

See attached location diagram and traffic control plan.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
