Sinclair Road to Open to Traffic at 9:00 am 

COLUMBIA, MO (March 14, 2016) - Columbia Utilities Stormwater Division has completed the temporary repairs to Sinclair Rd at Mill Creek - several days earlier then anticipated.

Crews found an 8 foot void under the roadway pavement caused by a failing stormwater pipe under the roadway. Crews cored holes through the pavement and filled the void with a cement grout mixture.

This temporary repair is expected to last until this fall when permanent repairs, which were already in the design phase, occur. Additional road closures and lane restrictions will be required when the new stormwater culvert is constructed.Additional information on these repairs and the effects to Sinclair Rd will be released as a construction date is determined. 

We appreciate our residents patience while repairs took place.
