City accepting applications for boards and commissions

COLUMBIA, MO (May 18, 2016) - The Columbia city clerk is accepting applications for boards and commissions. Applications must be received by the City Clerk’s Office, 701 E. Broadway, second floor, by 5 p.m. Friday, June 3. Applications are available at the clerk’s office or on the city’s website at CoMo.gov on the City Council page. The following are current boards and commissions openings:   


*Board of Electrical Examiners

*Board of Mechanical Examiners

*Board of Plumbing Examiners

*Building Construction Codes Commission

*Columbia Community Development Commission

*Columbia Library District Board

*Columbia Vision Commission

*Commission on Cultural Affairs Standing Committee on Public Art

*Community Tree Task Force

*Historic Preservation Commission

*Integrated Water Resource Planning Committee

*Personnel Advisory Board

*Railroad Advisory Board

*Water & Light Advisory Board

*Youth Advisory Council
