Sidewalk closure on East Walnut Street

COLUMBIA, MO (May 27, 2016) - Frech Paving Co. is scheduled to begin making improvements to the parking lot at the corner of North Ninth Street and East Walnut Street on Wednesday, June 1. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, July 1.

This work will result in a closure of the sidewalk on the north side of East Walnut Street between North Ninth Street and North 10th Street.

The work is being performed for the First Christian Church which has an agreement in place with the Boone County Government to use the new parking lot once construction is completed. Frech Paving Co. is a private contractor that applied for and received a construction permit.
