Intermittent sidewalk closure on east side of South Fifth Street, Oct. 5 - Nov. 4

COLUMBIA, MO (October 3, 2016) - The City of Columbia Community Development Department announced Monday that Missouri Builders plans to load roofing materials for a new roofing system near 504 E. Broadway, Oct. 5 to Nov. 4, weather permitting. This will result in an intermittent sidewalk closure on the east side of South Fifth Street between East Broadway and Cherry Street.  

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.

Missouri Builders is a private contractor who applied for and received a work permit from the City of Columbia.
